Hello! It's fairly simple to embed a YouTube video. This is the way I have done it. First, open a New Post and type a title and some text about the video you have chosen (optional), then if you are in the Compose view, click into the Edit Html view. If you are already in Edit Html view, good. Then, when you are in YouTube, look at the right-hand side of the page and see About This Video. Underneath there, you will see the word 'embed' (some videos have had this blocked) and in the box underneath you will see a line of code. Click on the code to select it, then Copy, then go to you New Post and Paste the code into the box, then publish your post. Hope this works for you!
